Below are trustworthy organizations listed by Veterans Advantage, a company founded to bring veterans the resources and rewards they deserve. Click the button below to visit their website directly for more information.

Fisher House Foundation

The Fisher House Foundation was started to help families of those in military hospitals find housing nearby without having to pay for these fees. 

Hope for the Warriors

Hope For the Warriors helps veterans and their families through the military transition period to civilian life by providing resources for them, specializing in health, wellness, and community. 

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
(TAPS)

TAPS, a community program, works to help family members of soldiers who died while serving on active duty or who passed away because of their military service. 
 

Give an Hour

This amazing organization pairs soldiers, veterans, and other military members who struggle with mental health with trained professionals to overcome their issues.

Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA)

This organization originally started to help Vietnam veterans earn the respect and honor they deserved through acts of "legislation, community support, and local and national events that recognize veterans from all service era," according to Veterans Advantage.

United Service Organizations (USO)

The USO is a well-rounded organization working to help support soldiers through many different outlets. The USO gives entertainment to active duty troops and helps soldiers transition to civilian life. 

Semper Fi Fund

This emergency services fund supports veterans who were injured or suffered from some sort of service-related illness after 9/11. Like many other organizations, they also help provide soldiers and their families with resources to make the transition from military to civilian life more comfortable.

Honor Flight Network

This program works to help veterans who are unable to travel to memorials dedicated to events surrounding their service/era. Honor Flight Network transports these veterans to Washington, D.C. However, WWII veterans and those with critical illnesses are at the top of Honor Flight Network's transport list.
 

Bob Woodruff Family Foundation

Started by Bob Woodruff and his wife Lee, the Bob Woodruff Foundation helps veterans struggling with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBIs (Traumatic Brain Injuries) by donating money to organizations in place to help these people. They also provide grants for research to be done in these categories and further education. 

Intrepid Foundations and Museum

The Intrepid Foundations & Museum serve as educational resources for military families while also providing aid. According to Veterans Advantage, the "Intrepid Family of Foundations funds The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, The Fisher House Foundation, The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and The Intrepid Relief Fund." 
 

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

Founded by a West Point graduate and Army Officer, the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundations supports children of those who have been killed while serving in the military via scholarships. 

Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude provides care packages for soldiers currently serving in the military that are "filled with entertainment, hygiene, and handmade items, non-perishable snacks, and personal letters of appreciation to U.S. Troops, First Responders, Veterans, MIlitary Families, and Wounded Heroes & their Care Givers" (Veterans Advantage). 

Operation Care and Comfort

Operation Care & Comfort, sometimes shortened to OCC, provides care packages to troops serving in the Middle East and other occupied areas. They receive donations from the community to provide resources and support to those deployed--and they do this EVERY MONTH!
