OPERATION HOMELESS
VETERANS
Semper Fi Fund
This emergency services fund supports veterans who were injured or suffered from some sort of service-related illness after 9/11. Like many other organizations, they also help provide soldiers and their families with resources to make the transition from military to civilian life more comfortable.
Honor Flight Network
This program works to help veterans who are unable to travel to memorials dedicated to events surrounding their service/era. Honor Flight Network transports these veterans to Washington, D.C. However, WWII veterans and those with critical illnesses are at the top of Honor Flight Network's transport list.
Bob Woodruff Family Foundation
Started by Bob Woodruff and his wife Lee, the Bob Woodruff Foundation helps veterans struggling with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and TBIs (Traumatic Brain Injuries) by donating money to organizations in place to help these people. They also provide grants for research to be done in these categories and further education.
Intrepid Foundations and Museum
The Intrepid Foundations & Museum serve as educational resources for military families while also providing aid. According to Veterans Advantage, the "Intrepid Family of Foundations funds The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, The Fisher House Foundation, The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and The Intrepid Relief Fund."
Operation Gratitude
Operation Gratitude provides care packages for soldiers currently serving in the military that are "filled with entertainment, hygiene, and handmade items, non-perishable snacks, and personal letters of appreciation to U.S. Troops, First Responders, Veterans, MIlitary Families, and Wounded Heroes & their Care Givers" (Veterans Advantage).
