Som resources provided by the federal government are listed below. Check them out for assistance.

Department of Health and Human Services

The Department of Health and Human Services has resources in place to help military families who are struggling, especially with medical problems. They help them with drug-related and mental health problems. They also have skills in place to help veterans find jobs.

Office of Warrior Care Policy

This office works to help aid veterans in their transition away from military life, specializing in those with injuries or sicknesses from active-duty service.

Department of Labor

The Department of Labor, focusing on employment in the United States, has resources for veterans looking for a job. 

Feds Hire Vets

This nation-wide database helps veterans find employment opportunities within the federal government. It is not only for veterans, but also those transitioning from military to civilian life as well as their families. 

USAJobs

Similar to Feds Hire Vets, this database gives veterans seeking employment information on where to find federal jobs. Since the Department of Defense has a strong reputation for hiring veterans, USAJobs uses their help to find veterans civil service jobs within this Department.
